What we collect

When you register your interest, we receive what you type into the form: your first name, your email address, your group size and when you’d like to come. On the full form on the register page, we also receive your riding level, how you found us and, if you write one, your message. We record whether you ticked the box for season news, the page you registered from, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address that helps keep the form free of spam.

How we use it

To reply to you personally, to send the 2027 dates and terms you asked about and, only if you opted in, to send occasional season news. Every news email carries an unsubscribe link.

What we never do

We never sell, rent or trade your details, and we don’t share them with anyone for their own marketing. They are stored with the hosting and email providers that run this website and our mailbox, on our behalf.

How long we keep it

For as long as it’s needed to answer your inquiry and plan a week with you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing reservations@velocitywake.com. You can stop season news with one click, or simply by replying to any email.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are, what device and browser they use and how they arrived. We don’t use it for advertising, we don’t use advertising features and we don’t build advertising profiles.

Links in the emails we send you may be tracked, so we can see whether a link was clicked. We don’t track whether an email was opened.

If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a cookie banner asks first. Accept, and analytics may set cookies on your device. Decline, and no analytics cookies are set; we still count the visit anonymously, without cookies, and Google receives the technical details that come with any web request, such as your IP address and browser type, only to count it. Elsewhere the banner isn’t shown and analytics runs normally with cookies.

We guess your region from your device’s time zone and language settings, not from your exact location, so it can be wrong. If you’re unsure, we treat you as a European visitor and ask. From anywhere you can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. Your choice is remembered on your device for six months.
