- 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday
- Land in Faro, settle in over a welcome dinner and fly home a week later after a last breakfast on the terrace. Every day in between has a shape, and none of it needs your planning.
- Base
- A villa with ten private bedrooms
- A private house above the coast with ten private bedrooms, a pool, a terrace for breakfast and an open kitchen where the chef cooks. It is where each morning starts and every evening ends.
- Getting there
- Fly into Faro (FAO)
- From the East Coast, fly direct when seasonal service runs, or connect through Lisbon or another European hub. A driver can meet you at arrivals, and Lagos is about an hour west.
- Group
- A small group, never more than 12
- Couples, friends, solo travelers and private groups. Small enough that the coach knows how everyone rides, big enough for a long and lively table.
- The table
- Chef-led dinners and Portuguese wine
- Breakfast, a long brunch after the boat and dinner from the chef: Algarve fish and seafood, cataplana, the odd steak night, and wines explained as they’re poured.
- Signature
- Wake surfing, coached at every level
- Early sessions on the bay off Meia Praia from a modern wake boat, with a coach on board and footage to review. First-timers start on a rope; experienced riders work on what’s next.
- Afternoons
- Coast, caves, old town or the pool
- The grottoes of Ponta da Piedade, coves such as Praia Dona Ana, the old town’s walls and market, a tasting at a vineyard inland, or nothing at all.
- Season
- April to October 2027
- Spring and fall are milder and quieter, June and September warm without the crowds, July and August the hottest. The sea is warmest around July, when southerly winds carry the warm water back to the coast.
Faro airport to Lagos
Land in Faro. The week begins.
A driver at arrivals, about an hour along the coast and a villa with the pool already catching the light. Your room is ready, dinner is planned and there’s nothing left to organize. The transfer between Faro airport and Lagos is included, both ways.

A villa with ten private bedrooms and a pool above the coast, a chef for the week and a modern wake boat on the bay. The days in between are arranged before you arrive. Ride as much as you like, explore the coast or do nothing at all by the pool.

Fish from the morning market, Portuguese wine and a chef cooking for your group as the light goes. Long, shared and unhurried. Breakfast, brunch and the chef’s dinners are all part of the week.

Lagos, by boat and on foot
The coast is the playground.
A boat trip to the sea caves of Ponta da Piedade, included, quiet coves such as Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Camilo below the cliffs, and an old town made for long lunches. The cliff trail to the lighthouse, the long sands of Meia Praia and the vineyards inland are all close by, and Sagres and Cape St. Vincent are an easy drive west.

Evenings in Lagos
When the day cools, the old town wakes.
By seven the cobbled streets smell of grilled fish and warm bread. Tables spill out under strings of lights, the church bells mark the half hour, and the whole town seems to exhale. Some evenings the chef cooks at the villa. On others the group drifts into town for a walk, a glass of Algarve wine and a table that was arranged before anyone asked.
