April to October 2027
Weeks run Saturday to Saturday, from spring to fall, when the Algarve is at its best for the water and the table. Exact 2027 dates go to registered guests first.
Length
7 nights, Saturday to Saturday
Arrive in Faro on a Saturday, leave from Faro the next Saturday. Every day in between is arranged, from the welcome dinner to the last breakfast.
Group
A small group, never more than 12
Few enough that the boat, the coach and the table stay personal; enough for a long, lively dinner.

Shared weeks or a private group
Join a shared week as a couple, with friends or on your own, or take the villa, the boat and the crew privately for your group.
Arrive
Faro (FAO), transfer included
Lagos is about an hour west of Faro on the A22. A driver meets you at arrivals and takes you back at the end of the week, included both ways.

We don’t sell a weather guarantee, and we don’t pad the week with extras. We promise a team that knows how to run it, and a day that pivots when the sea says no.

Planning your trip

From the East Coast to Faro.

Velocity does not book flights, but it keeps the rest of the trip simple.

Fly to Faro

United flies nonstop from Newark to Faro in summer, roughly mid-May to late September; check the 2027 schedule. In April, early May and October, connect through Lisbon or another European hub. Your transfer from Faro is included either way.

Arrive for the week

We share arrival times that suit the week, and a driver meets you at arrivals, included both ways.

Pack for sun and sea

All gear is provided, wetsuits included. Bring something for the sun, something for the sea and something for long evenings.

At the table

Breakfast, brunch and dinner are part of the price.

The chef cooks every breakfast, brunch and dinner at the villa: Algarve fish and seafood, cataplana and the odd steak night, with Portuguese wine poured as the light goes. You will not be handed a menu and a bill.
